Fee-Fi-Faux Inc was established 10 years ago, by Tina Folks & Bryan Gutman who are artisans working in the trades. When they are not installing wall coverings or applying fine wall finishes to custom built homes in the Hamptons and in Western Suffolk County, they are concentrating on painting and sculpture.

Bryan Gutman has remained committed to painting since completing his MFA Degree from Brooklyn College, New York in 1984. Although Bryan’s roots are in “plein air” landscape painting, he makes a departure from this foundation to create a personal iconography in a modern style. For example erotica, neon signage and elements of urban cityscapes are images that the artist likes to use repeatedly in his canvases. Images of Bryan’s paintings can be viewed on this website.

As an artist, Tina Folks has been working with clay for over 20 years. Although she started out making slip cast functional pieces for the table, she eventually moved into tile & mosaic making and took on commissioned projects. Lately though, Tina has been inspired by recent experiences and studies in Shamanism, the mystique and folklore of Healers. Hand built masks and small totems are some of her interpretations of this practice. More totems and figurines can be viewed and purchased on this website. Tina shares a home studio with her husband Bryan in Hampton Bays, NY.
